Thierry Henry is one of the top strikers in world football in this era. He is an Arsenal legend. Henry is the all time top goal scorer of Arsenal. He is also the all time top goal scorer of French National team. He was part of the French teams, which won 1998 world cup aswell as Euro 2000.

Henry played for youth sides of CO Les Ulis US Palaiseau, Viry-Chatillon, and Clairefontaine Academy during 1983 to 1992 period. He joined Monaco’s youth system in 1992. He made senior side debut for Monaco while playing against Nice, in 1994. In 1997, he scored 10 goals and helped Monaco to win Ligue one title. He won the Ligue 1 Player of the year award in 1997.He won the French Super Cup with Monaco, in 1997. In 1997/1998 season, he scored seven vital goals to help Monaco to reach the UEFA Champions league semi-final. Henry scored 28 goals in 141 appearances for Monaco.

In January 1999, he moved Italy and joined Serie A club Juventus for 10.5 million pounds. He played as a winger and he struggled to make impact at Juventus, with only three goals in 20 matches. At the start of 1999/2000 season, Arsenal bought Henry for 10 million pounds. He helped Arsenal to finish runners-up in English Premier League and UEFA cup during that season. He scored 26 goals for Arsenal in that season. Henry helped Arsenal to win English Premier League in 2002 and 2004.In 2003, Henry was the runner up in the FIFA World Player of the year. In 2003/2004 season Arsenal were invincible. In 2007, Henry moved to Spain and joined Barcelona in a transfer deal worth 24 million Euros. Even though Henry struggled during his first season, he ended as the top-scorer of Barcelona with 19 goals. In 2008/2009 season, he helped Barcelona to win Spanish La liga, Copa del Rey aswell as UEFA Champions league, the first treble in their history. He scored 26 goals and provided 12 assists during the season.

In 1997, Henry made his debut for France, while playing against South Africa. He played in the 1998 world cup. He scored three goals and played a role in the first world cup triumph of France.
